Where These Stories Began

These stories began when my daughter, Ella, was born, and I wanted stories we could fall in love with together at bedtime.

I started making up simple stories to read aloud as we wound down for the night. Stories inspired by our pets, their personalities, quirks, and the small moments we share with them each day.

Over time, those stories became a way to gently explore the values I wanted Ella to grow up with, and to make space for feelings and emotions. Not as lessons, but as moments we could share, night after night.

These stories are written for parents and carers to enjoy reading aloud, and for children to grow into, as they get older.
